PAVO Convention

Join us this December in Oklahoma City, the site of the 2014 NCAA Division I Volleyball Championships and PAVO Officials Convention.

The convention headquarters will be the Skirvin Hilton hotel--$119 room rate.  A historically modern and beautiful facility, the Skirvin is the oldest hotel in the city, renovated to offer outstanding service and accommodations.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it's even believed to be haunted.  But while a few NBA teams have reported poor nights sleeps, officials have never reported being disturbed by the resident ghoul.  Just a few blocks away from the hotel is the AVCA exhibit hall in the Cox Convention Center (4 minute walk), and the playing site at the Chesapeake Energy Center (10 minute walk).

Located in the business district, downtown OKC's most vibrant districts and attractions, including the Deep Deuce neighborhood, Myriad Botanical Gardens and Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, Bricktown, Automobile Alley, and Midtown are all within a reasonable walking distance.  With the average mid-December highs around 50 degrees, the weather is warm enough to enjoy the outdoors.  But if the weather does take a turn for the worse, an underground tunnel system helps with the walk between facilities and attractions
