PAVO Volleyball Official’s Guidebook
The PAVO Volleyball Official's Guidebook includes invaluable information for volleyball referees, line judges and scorekeepers, including a complete casebook, comparisons with USAV and NFHS rules, information on official's certifications, and chapters on the mechanics and techniques for all officials. All well-equipped officials will own this book as a complement to the rule book.

The 2009 Guidebook Supplement is now available for download, free of charge. However, the Supplement is only useful when used in conjunction with the 2008 Guidebook. The 2008 PAVO Official's Guidebook is still available for purchase. Go to the PAVO E-store or call 888/791-2074. The 2010 PAVO Officia's Guidebook will be available for purchase around July 1, 2010.

Fundamental Scorekeeper Training
PAVO now offers a free PowerPoint presentation that provides basic instruction on completing an NCAA scoresheet and libero tracking sheet. This presentation reviews the 2009 procedure and responsibility changes that affect the assistant scorekeeper (libero tracker).
Schools, conferences and local PAVO boards who help with basic training should utilize this new tool. NOTE: Reviewing this power point presentation does NOT fulfill the certification requirement of attending a scorekeeper's clinic, but is intended for fundamental instruction only. Also, PAVO has developed a new one-page "Libero Tracking Reminders" document that you can download here. The simplified set of "mini-instructions" will help libero trackers of all experience levels understand their tasks during the match and provide reminders and hints that might help avoid errors.
